The API-IDEE is a platform for developing web map viewers based on open technologies such as OpenLayers and CesiumJS for two-dimensional and three-dimensional environments, respectively. Its goal is to provide a common, flexible, and extensible solution for visualizing geographic information on web clients.

API-IDEE originated from a fork of the API-CNIG of the IGN/CNIG, combined with the merger of Mapea, the reference API of the Regional Government of Andalusia. API-IDEE has become a collaborative IDEE tool with participation from various national, regional, and supramunicipal nodes:

• Spatial Data Infrastructure of Extremadura (IDEEX)
